Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic made it challenging to diagnose and treatment of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and increased mortality and morbidity. Treatment of COPD during acute exacerbation requires aerosolization therapy like nebulization and non-invasive ventilation modalities like high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) and Non-invasive ventilation (NIV). Even though aerosolization therapy impacts the spread of COVID-19, with proper precaution COPD management has to be continued as per standard recommendations.
