Abstract

The law always depend on gestational age as an essential indicator of the ability to survive, while
research prefers the viability as a context sensitive that makes the consideration of gestational age
inconclusive when considered in isolation stillbirth and the cause of death as subsequent legal
proceedings can involve the demonstration of concealment of birth or homicide to determine
gestational age, each case should subject to thorough investigations [1,2]. Protocols should be
detected for foetuses or infants, since these remains are human in nature, this should be stand
whether prosecution is possible or not.
In fact, age estimation is the primary characteristic and the only means of identification for foetuses
and neonates. Specifically if the foetus reached full-term, the determination of foetal age, can have a
legal necessarily in forensic cases if the individual lived born or stillborn is of a significant importance
to the forensic case.
